Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive the development, application, maintenance, and improvement of the company's Quality Management System (QMS), specifically IATF 16949
• Direct supplier quality and production quality personnel to ensure conformance of inbound materials and outbound products
• Partner with the IATF Team to develop and improve procedures and forms for all supporting QMS processes
• Utilize root cause analysis methodologies such as Practical Problem Solving and 8D to address audit gaps
• Use dFMEA and pFMEA tools to identify and mitigate risks
• Establish and maintain quality control plans and identify critical control points for error-proofing
• Manage the gauge system, including acquisition, maintenance, and calibration
• Provide leadership and training for Quality auditors
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, sales, and supply chain to champion quality improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering or a related field
• Experience working in an IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 certified facility
• Experience in a fabrication, machining, or assembly facility
• Hands-on experience with process improvement, error proofing, dFMEA, pFMEA, APQP, and control plans
• Strong statistical background and Lean Manufacturing experience
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
