Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure production teams follow quality standards and parameters
• Assign tasks and monitor daily activities of QC staff on the production floor
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs and process audits
• Collaborate with product development to evaluate risks and drive efficiency
• Manage on-site and in-process quality assurance checks for WIP and finished goods
• Coordinate with project management to ensure manufacturing processes meet release dates
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
• Identify areas for process improvement using lean manufacturing and data-driven approaches
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality, and inventory levels
• Manage allocation of department materials, machinery, and workforce

Requirements

• 7-10 years in quality assurance and managing teams in a manufacturing environment
• 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proven ability to manage quality assurance programs and ensure compliance
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO standards
• Proficiency in manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 35 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Bilingual skills
