Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality, integrity, and timeliness
• Manage and optimize quality assurance programs, staff, and safety standards within the plant
• Assign tasks and monitor daily activities of QC staff on the production floor
• Implement and enforce quality process/control audits and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with product development and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality metrics, and incident reports
• Manage resource allocation including materials, machinery, and workforce to optimize utilization

Requirements

• 7-10 years in quality assurance and managing teams in a manufacturing environment
• 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role
• Extensive experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proven track record in implementing lean manufacturing or process improvement initiatives
• Experience conducting quality process audits and managing safety/compliance standards
• Proficiency in manufacturing software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP or Oracle)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
• Bilingual skills
• Knowledge of ISO standards and OSHA regulations
