Quality Manager - Electrical Construction

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Oversee quality for large-scale commercial building systems, including MEP, structural, and exterior envelope systems.
• Conduct inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
• Identify, document, and drive the resolution of nonconformances and quality issues.
• Manage subcontractor quality performance and ensure alignment with project expectations.
• Support internal and external quality audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Analyze quality trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate quality expectations and findings to project teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing construction quality management programs.
• Background in the Power or Electrical Construction industry.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage up to 5 personnel.
• Strong technical writing and public speaking skills for communicating with craft personnel and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to access all points of a construction site in various climates and environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as AWS, CWB, API, ACI, ICBO, ASNT, or NACE.
