Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and sustain site-wide Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO-based systems, audits, and documentation control.
• Serve as the ISO Management Representative and primary point of contact for external auditors and NSF.
• Drive quality performance by monitoring KPIs, analyzing in-process and finished-product data, and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
• Oversee customer-facing quality activities, including complaint investigations, root-cause analysis, and incident management.
• Provide leadership for laboratory operations and quality personnel, including staffing, training, and performance management.
• Champion Lean principles and the Chemours Business System (CBS) to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste.
• Coordinate site-wide quality improvement efforts in partnership with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of progressive quality or manufacturing leadership experience, including people management.
• Experience working in chemical, industrial, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Statistical Process Controls (SPC) and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with SAP or equivalent manufacturing and business systems.
• Strong leadership skills with a data-driven, customer-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading ISO-based quality systems and audit programs.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Black Belt certification.
• Lead Auditor or Internal Quality Auditor certification.
• Proven success leading cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
