Quality Manager, Body

Responsibilities

• Implement inspection and testing plans to ensure compliance with BIW quality standards
• Use statistical data to monitor and control production processes
• Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Manage and guide quality control inspectors and technicians
• Analyze quality control data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines
• Work with technical quality customers to resolve complaints and quality issues

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field with 2 years of experience
• OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field with 5 years of experience
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) including ISO 9001
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of BIW Flush and Gap measurement, Joining Technology, and Surface Finish requirements
• Experience with Body in White (BIW) manufacturing processes
• Expertise in quality tools: SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, or PPAP
• Familiarity with quality auditing standards such as VDA or IATF
• Proficiency in CAD software, measurement technology, and GD&T
