Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians, overseeing testing, inspections, and audits.
• Manage the ISO 9001 Quality Management System to ensure compliance, certification, and proper documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Oversee the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor quality metrics and KPIs to ensure products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to assess and improve supplier quality.
• Manage distressed and at-risk inventory processes and raw material approvals.
• Prepare and present performance reports, including trend analysis and long-term quality strategies, to senior executives.

Requirements

• 3 years of Quality Management experience.
• 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• Direct experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of paint and coatings chemistry.
• Proficiency with SAP/S4 HANA or other ERP systems.
• Experience using statistical software for data analysis.
