About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality control processes for all chilled products during the backshift
- Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Lead and mentor the quality control team, providing training and support
- Conduct product inspections, audits, and quality assessments
- Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to address quality-related issues
- Analyze quality data and metrics to report findings and recommend improvements
- Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders regarding quality and safety compliance
Requirements
- Previous experience in quality management within the food production industry
- Experience specifically with chilled products
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and food safety regulations
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Experience in conducting audits and implementing quality control measures
- Analytical skills with understanding of data evaluation and reporting
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, 3PM - 12.30AM
Preferred Qualifications
- HACCP certification
- Knowledge of BRC standards
