Quality Management Systems Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) to maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and ISO 17034.
• Coordinate and facilitate site-wide internal and external quality audits.
• Author, review, and revise QMS controlled documents, procedures, and work instructions.
• Manage the Corrective Actions (CAPA) process and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Develop and facilitate QMS training plans and materials for staff.
• Support product compliance regulations including RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals.
• Manage quality data accuracy and generate reports to identify trends and risks.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure quality requirements are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, systems management, measurements, or a related science field (or 5+ years of equivalent QMS experience).
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification and experience as an internal auditor.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 17025 and ISO 17034 standards.
• Proven experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCA/CAPA) and problem-solving methodologies like PDCA.
• Proficiency in business software such as SAP, Salesforce, or Tableau.
• Background in manufacturing environments.
• Quality Assurance or Lean Six Sigma certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining QMS compliance in highly regulated industries (e.g., cGMP).
• Internal or external lead auditing experience for ISO 13485 standards.
• Strong project management skills.
