Quality Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of quality standards and compliance requirements for specific project packages
• Implement and improve quality management systems, processes, and tools based on ISO 9001
• Support the development of procurement requirements for design, engineering, and operations
• Embed a strong quality culture across the project, including contractors and stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze quality performance across the entire project lifecycle
• Manage the quality team and develop programme-wide key performance indicators
• Oversee the recording, reporting, and investigation of quality incidents to promote risk reduction
• Provide expert technical advice and ensure compliance with relevant statutory provisions

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience embedding quality practices in large engineering capital delivery projects
• 5+ years of experience in metro rail projects or similar scale/complexity
• Proven experience managing quality on-site
• Experience developing and maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Knowledge of contract documents, forms of contract, and specifications
• Experience delivering within regulated and unionized environments
• Minimum Level 8 Quality diploma or degree
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification
• Safe pass accreditation
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project/Primavera
