Quality Laboratory Assistant Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory procedures to test the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Ensure the validated state of laboratory equipment and testing methods
• Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the assigned area
• Observe and report deviations in product quality and participate in out-of-specification investigations
• Advise on quality checks, product blocking, and testing methods
• Work in strict accordance with safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing/Laboratory Practices (GMP/GLP)
• Report validation findings to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• High school degree preferred
• Completed vocational training
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience preferred
• Knowledge of physical and chemical test methods
• Proficiency in English
• Basic computer skills and literacy in math
• Understanding of laboratory safety protocols and the use of PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or similar IT systems
• Advanced analytical and statistical skills
• Experience with the calibration of measuring devices and equipment maintenance
