Quality Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control laboratory activities including sample analysis, data recording, and equipment maintenance
• Analyze raw material, in-process, and finished material using wet titration, pH, color, specific gravity, and moisture methods
• Evaluate and determine quality approvals for raw materials and manufacturing batches
• Document all data accurately in laboratory notebooks, SAP, and LIMS
• Support troubleshooting for batches with quality issues and perform investigations for customer complaints
• Assist in the qualification, validation, and preventative maintenance of laboratory instruments
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to all HSES safety policies and chemical disposal procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization
• Two years of experience in a QC/QA lab within a chemical manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in various wet chemistry methods
• Strong math and reading skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work swinging 12-hour shifts (night and day)
