About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis on raw materials, solutions, and components using chromatography, spectroscopy, or spectrophotometry.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure proper working order.
  • Prepare test solutions, compounds, standards, and reagents for laboratory testing.
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment using 6S principles.
  • Review samples, log data, and enter information into LIMS.
  • Investigate deviations and write exception documents in compliance with company SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, GLP, QSR, and cGMP regulations.
  • Serve as a mentor to Quality Laboratory Associates, providing training and work direction.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Natural Sciences (Chemistry preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Chemistry Laboratory, or a Master's degree in Natural Sciences with relevant laboratory experience.
  • Proficiency in at least three of the following techniques: HPLC, GC, AA, Flame Photometry, FTIR, or UV-Vis Spectroscopy.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Familiarity with LIMS (or equivalent) and TrackWise.
  • Digital literacy in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a timely manner with strong attention to detail.
