Quality Lab Associate I - Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis on raw materials, solutions, and components using chromatography and spectroscopy techniques.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure proper working order.
• Prepare test solutions, compounds, standards, and reagents for laboratory testing.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment using 6S principles.
• Review samples, log data, and enter information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, FDA, GLP, QSR, and cGMP regulations.
• Investigate deviations and complete exception documentation.
• Perform routine laboratory and safety audits.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Natural Sciences (Chemistry preferred) or a Master's degree in Natural Sciences with relevant laboratory experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Chemistry Laboratory, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Proficiency in at least three of the following techniques: HPLC, GC, AA, Flame Photometry, FTIR, or UV-Vis Spectroscopy.
• Strong knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
• Familiarity with LIMS (or equivalent) and TrackWise.
• Digital literacy with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner.
