Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of hardware against engineering drawings and industry specifications
• Conduct incoming inspections to support production timelines
• Create and maintain inspection documentation including FAIRs, CoC, and EIDPs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA)
• Drive Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to closure
• Identify and recommend process improvements for lean manufacturing
• Perform product testing on hardware to verify performance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, production, or manufacturing
• Hands-on experience inspecting harnesses to IPC-620 or NASA 8739.4 Class 3
• Familiarity with RCA and CAPA processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to work onsite in Redondo Beach, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Technical Degree in a related field
• Experience inspecting aerospace or defense hardware
• IPC-620, IPC-610, and NASA-STD-8739.4 certifications
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
