About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, tests, and measurements on materials, components, and finished goods
  • Inspect output samples and incoming items using industry-appropriate methods to ensure compliance with standards
  • Review blueprints, BOM specifications, and engineering drawings to verify manufactured products
  • Use precision gauges such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensional measurements
  • Detect flaws in welded joints, including cracks, cold welds, splatter, and undercuts
  • Record inspection results, summarize re-works and wastes, and enter data into quality databases
  • Maintain measurement equipment accuracy by following calibration requirements
  • Audit QA procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing processes
  • Perform mass spectrometer testing on manufactured equipment

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2–4 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment
  • VT Certification (visual inspection) required
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • BT Certification (bubble leak)
  • Knowledge of welding processes
