Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials using sampling plans and engineering prints
• Verify specified dimensions for incoming and in-process inspections
• Perform first piece inspections and reporting
• Conduct customer and supplier PPAP dimensional layouts
• Examine defective parts to determine root causes
• Maintain detailed records of inspection and testing results
• Use inspection tooling including calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators
• Perform CMM programming and operation
• Manage gage maintenance, control, and calibration (MSA)
• Support compliance with IATF-16949 and ISO 14001 / 45001 standards

Requirements

• 3-5 years of quality inspection experience
• Proficiency in Blueprints, GD&T, and metrology
• Experience with PPAP and GP-12 / Safe Launch
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Access
• Strong attention to detail and adaptability

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing industry
