Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Use quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testing, and paint thickness testers
• Operate CMM and Vision System Inspection equipment
• Complete Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR’s) on a daily basis
• Perform dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials
• Conduct daily packaging conformance audits to ensure requirements are met
• Navigate document repositories to locate inspection reports and blueprints
• Perform basic shop floor math, including fraction to decimal and unit conversions
• Maintain a safe working environment by abiding by all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• One year of previous quality technician experience
• Strong understanding of metrology fundamentals
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
