Quality Inspector (Medium Mechanics)

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections according to technical specifications and standards, with a focus on non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Evaluate inspection results, review documentation, and manage deviations from error reporting through to re-inspection and release.
• Ensure component traceability by accurately recording and logging technical data.
• Create inspection and error reports and coordinate with manufacturing, metrology, engineering, and external partners.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methods, standards, and quality-related processes.

Requirements

• Completed technical training in industrial mechanics, mechatronics, machining technology, or testing technology.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in manufacturing or quality assurance.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365; knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in German (written and spoken) and basic English skills.
• Willingness to work in a two-shift operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• DIN EN ISO 9712 certification, specifically in liquid penetrant testing.
• Experience in the manufacturing of valves and valve components.
• Experience in the service of turbines and generators.
