Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Ensure aircraft remain airworthy and safe using maintenance manuals and Federal Regulations
• Follow company policies, OSHA requirements, and best practices for a safe work environment
• Understand and apply Quality Management Systems
• Conduct specialty on-the-job training as a student or instructor
• Perform aircraft maintenance technician duties when required
• Travel as part of a maintenance recovery team
• Work rotating shifts, split shifts, and weekends as required
• Support CONUS and OCONUS deployments in potentially austere environments

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years relevant experience, or Associate's Degree with 2+ years relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience as an FAA A&P
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical publications
• Working knowledge of military flight line operations
• Experience completing, maintaining, and researching aircraft records
• Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 43, 65, 91, and 145
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
• Valid civilian driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Inspection Authorization (IA) verifiable with FAA
• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• 1 year of quality assurance experience
• Previous leadership experience
• Gulfstream trained maintenance technician
• Experience managing aircraft maintenance logs and records
