Quality Inspector - CMM/Romer Arm Programmer and Operator

Responsibilities

• Verify machined, fabricated, and assembled hardware to ensure compliance with CAD models and engineering drawings
• Program and operate Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and portable arms
• Utilize hand measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, height gages, and gage blocks
• Populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports
• Work closely with engineers to interpret data and understand complex requirements
• Manage non-conforming material, perform failure analysis, and assist in identifying root causes and corrective actions
• Adjust priorities based on workflow in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience with CMM programming and operation
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Proficiency with hand measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
• US Citizenship required (must be able to obtain or maintain a Secret Clearance)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an AS9100 Aerospace and Defense manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with PC-DMIS, Solid Works Inspection, PolyWorks Metrology Suite, or Spatial Analyzer software
• Experience inspecting complex aerospace hardware
