About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed dimensional inspections on medium and large machined parts
- Validate compliance with technical drawings, tolerances, and specifications
- Record inspection results and maintain evidence of quality checks
- Segregate and block non-conforming parts
- Open and monitor non-conformity reports with relevant departments
- Provide technical support to production regarding dimensional requirements
- Participate in root cause analysis for machining deviations
Requirements
- Technical degree in Mechanics, Metallurgy, or a related field
- Advanced ability to read and interpret mechanical technical drawings
- Mastery of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Proficiency with high-precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, etc.)
- Experience inspecting large-scale machined components
- Knowledge of machining processes such as turning, milling, and CNC
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards and internal procedures
