Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Verify quality requirements defined in inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality standards
• Perform non-destructive testing (VT, MT, PT, UT) on forged, casted, and welded structures
• Prepare for inspections using drawings, ITPs, and NCRs
• Set up, maintain, and manage test equipment
• Record and classify test results against acceptance criteria
• Report results and create non-conformity reports (NCRs) when necessary
• Cooperate with Quality Engineers and Technical Departments regarding procedures and record sheets
• Manage NDT testing and prepare DATABOOKs
• Process non-conformities and concession requests

Requirements

• High school diploma in mechanical or metallurgical engineering
• NDT EN 9712 Level 2 accreditation (VT, MT, PT, UT)
• Minimum 5 years of NDT experience on forged, castings, and welded structures
• Fluency in English
• Experience performing dimensional checks
• Experience managing testing in the presence of customers
• Ability and willingness to travel within Spain and abroad for supplier inspections
• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with IT tools
