Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage non-conformities using the DMAIC approach to develop remedial and corrective actions
• Issue and monitor complaints to internal and external suppliers
• Inspect incoming materials and finished products according to factory and quality management directives
• Define inspection routines and support the issuance of requests for updates to technical drawings
• Finalize welding books, welding maps, and certification books in accordance with inspection and test plans
• Coordinate and support third-party inspections by presenting necessary quality documentation
• Perform Visual Welding Inspection (VT) to check welded items

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality roles
• Technical education with proficiency in reading technical drawings
• Experience performing industrial quality inspections
• VT (Visual Testing) certification
• Knowledge of skid-based packages (pumps, heat exchangers, piping, valves, instruments, etc.)
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience working with Marine classification societies
