About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and completed aircraft components, electronic units, and mechanical assemblies.
- Utilize various measuring devices, blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Accept or reject defective or malfunctioning units or systems based on quality standards.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control procedures.
- Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate quality records and document non-conforming materials.
- Support continuous manufacturing flow through cross-training and assisting other team members.
Requirements
- Completion of Workkeys Assessment or a High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to work any shift and work overtime as required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs.
- Ability to function at heights up to 40 feet.
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.
