About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts, tools, gages, and other equipment to ensure conformance to engineering requirements.
  • Use written inspection procedures, drawings, and approved technical data to plan and execute inspections.
  • Utilize fixed or variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
  • Perform mathematical computations to determine pass/fail results based on allowed tolerances.
  • Identify and raise notifications of non-conformance, quarantine non-conforming products, and provide scrap or rework dispositions.
  • Recognize the need for and arrange for the repair or calibration of measuring equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement activities and maintain an inspection stamp.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities and maintain flexibility regarding shifts and overtime.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by regulatory standards).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience performing inspections within a production environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proficiency in basic shop math.
