Quality Group Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and train a team of quality inspectors
• Monitor team productivity and adjust priorities to meet operational demands
• Partner with the Quality Manager to implement process improvements
• Oversee the use, inspection, and maintenance of measuring instruments and tooling
• Provide quality support to Product Management and Engineering to resolve customer issues
• Serve as a liaison between Service, Manufacturing, Engineering, Product, and Sales teams
• Support quality control for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
• Analyze daily quality data and lead root cause analysis for nonconformities

Requirements

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Hands-on experience with calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and torque wrenches
• Understanding of mechanical/electronics inspection and metal processing
• Working knowledge of GD&T
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the lawn equipment industry
• Experience with MES, MRP, or ERP systems
