Quality Gate Inspector

Responsibilities

• Audit buses utilizing Tulsa Bus Plant Process Standards to identify defects and ensure readiness for customer delivery
• Evaluate, validate, and make judgment calls regarding quality defects as units progress through the manufacturing line
• Work with production team members to identify quality defects and meet daily production goals
• Validate rework on units prior to final unit acceptance
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain safety in the work area

Requirements

• At least 1 year of plant manufacturing experience
• At least 3 months of quality experience
• Understanding of ISO principles
• Ability to walk or stand for up to 10 hours per day
• Legal authorization to work in the US on an unrestricted basis
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment involving vehicles, power tools, or hazardous materials

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to review audits with all levels of the Assembly Team
