Quality Field Technical Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Audit and qualify co-packers, suppliers, and distributors to ensure adherence to company quality standards and regulatory compliance
• Provide technical support to co-packers to troubleshoot and optimize production processes
• Collaborate with Technical and Quality teams to establish comprehensive packaging standards and material performance evaluations
• Conduct audits of distribution warehouses to verify compliance with Quality Guidelines
• Validate sanitation equipment functionality and evaluate SSOP and COP practices
• Perform quality assessments of production equipment to ensure compliance with OEM specifications
• Manage investigations and site follow-ups for critical complaints or audit findings, ensuring effective corrective actions
• Oversee innovation trials and commercial production processes to ensure alignment with formulation specifications

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in beverage manufacturing, focusing on quality control, technical support, or production
• Proven experience auditing facilities, co-packers, or suppliers regarding food safety and quality standards
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations including FDA, HACCP, SQF, and GMP
• Hands-on experience with quality lab equipment such as HPLC, Refractometer, pH meters, CO2 meters, and seam/torque testing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
• Ability to travel 50-75% domestically

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with cold-fill beverage production, tunnel pasteurization, water treatment, or brewing
• Experience managing R&D trials and new product introductions
