About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional, visual, and functional verification inspections per QC plans or work instructions
- Execute First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)
- Review incoming quality documentation and report issues using 8D methodology
- Maintain tools and the QC area in clean, organized conditions
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Technician teams to support IQC activities
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Proficiency with inspection tools including Digital Height Gages, calipers, micrometers, and thread gages
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain precision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with analytical capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Experience in the robotics or high-tech industry
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and industrial engineering principles
