About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality Engineering team and Clinic function for the new Advanced Casting Foundry (ACF) greenfield business.
  • Drive a culture of compliance through strong collaboration with Operations and Manufacturing teams.
  • Act as the site leader to drive critical improvements and resolve quality issues to closure.
  • Lead process improvement opportunities using DMAIC, CORE, and Lean strategies to enhance quality and reduce costs.
  • Identify and establish required QMS improvements to support the new internal product line.
  • Lead activities to support FAA and AS9100 scope expansion.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational decision-making and resource allocation to meet customer demand.
  • Provide technical expertise regarding non-conforming material and support the Material Review Board (MRB) process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree with 7+ years of experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a Quality Engineering role.
  • U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality systems.
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, and GD&T.
  • Experience in root cause corrective action and eliminating non-conformances.
  • Practical experience with DMAIC, CORE, Six Sigma, or other Lean systems.
