Quality Engineering Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Own CI/CD systems end-to-end, including auditing, redesigning, and improving pipeline reliability and developer experience
• Lead the adoption of standardized QE practices and testing frameworks across engineering teams
• Drive automation of QE processes using AI-assisted tooling like Claude, Codex, or Cursor
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 1–3 Quality Engineers
• Partner with Engineering and Product to shift quality earlier in the development lifecycle
• Establish structured knowledge sharing and process documentation

Requirements

• Proven track record owning and operating CI/CD systems at scale (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
• Deep expertise in CI/CD tooling and infrastructure
• Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium
• Solid background in Quality Engineering or SDET, including designing frameworks from the ground up
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted coding tools to automate testing
• Experience leading or mentoring a small engineering team
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills
