Quality Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Project QC program to ensure all contractual obligations are met for a government contract.
• Schedule quality inspections, collect and analyze quality data, and submit reports as required.
• Ensure all work, including subcontractor performance, adheres to the Quality Control Program.
• Conduct weekly scheduled facility inspections in coordination with the Kings Bay Naval Submarine team.
• Document all required inspections and discrepancies within the Maximo system.
• Develop trend analysis reports to identify potential problem areas for the Operations department.
• Provide daily guidance to Project QC staff and serve as the primary quality point of contact for Government representatives.
• Deliver ongoing quality training to project personnel, subcontractors, and customer representatives.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance or Base Clearance Access.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Five (5) years of experience preparing and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) programs on similar contracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Computerized Management Systems (Maximo).
• Detailed knowledge of Quality Control principles and the ability to develop practical Quality Control Plans.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with government contracting procedures and principles.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
• Instructional teaching experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.
