Quality Engineering-SAP Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute functional testing strategies, including integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for web-based SAP applications.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test suites and automated test scripts for SAP modules and functional workflows.
• Identify automation opportunities across multiple layers, including API, UI, and data validation.
• Design and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright or WebDriver with Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Validate integrations between SAP and other enterprise applications, ensuring data accuracy and workflow integrity.
• Manage defects through the full lifecycle, performing root cause analysis and working with developers to ensure resolution.
• Monitor testing progress, report key metrics, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on functional test automation.
• Proven expertise in testing SAP systems or modules (e.g., S/4HANA, Fiori, ECC, MM, SD, FI/CO, or BTP).
• Proficiency in designing and developing automation frameworks using Page Object Model, Page Factory, or BDD with Cucumber.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with Git/GitHub for repository management, including branching and merging strategies.
• Ability to handle data from external sources such as Excel, JSON, CSV, or flat files.
• Bachelor’s degree in BE, BTech, or MCA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API test automation using Karate DSL or Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as Gatling or K6.
• Experience working within Agile project methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Docker containers.
