Quality Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Quality Assurance representative for cross-functional project teams
• Identify, assess, and resolve quality and compliance issues to ensure regulatory standards are met
• Author, review, and approve quality records, documentation, and Abbott Nutrition policies
• Monitor and maintain the validation status of site products, processes, systems, and equipment
• Maintain Process FMEA and equipment/software risk analysis records
• Communicate quality status through metrics, trend reporting, risk identification, and CAPAs
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert during internal and external audits
• Coach and mentor staff to support performance, training, and professional development
• Ensure products and processes meet Abbott Nutrition Quality System requirements across the full lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Previous Quality Engineering experience
• Experience supporting the development or manufacturing of nutrition products
• Working knowledge of cGMP and/or ISO Quality Systems
• Ability to travel 0–10% as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior people management or team leadership experience
• Experience in a food or nutrition manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with 21 CFR Parts 106, 107, 113, and 117
