Quality Engineering Leader

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage quality assurance and control processes within the solar manufacturing facility
• Establish and enforce quality assurance procedures and guidelines throughout the manufacturing process
• Analyze test data and quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Utilize statistical analysis tools to monitor process parameters and identify deviations
• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system in accordance with ISO standards
• Conduct regular audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and supply chain
• Provide leadership and guidance to the quality engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence
• Manage supplier quality through audits, assessments, and corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or a related field)
• 2+ years of working experience in quality engineering
• Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as Minitab or JMP
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant quality standards
• Leadership experience with a track record of managing multiple projects
