Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform APQP planning, technical evaluations, and economic assessments of measurement systems for assigned plant products.
• Develop quality techniques to ensure product quality for both internal and external customers during new program launches.
• Participate in external IATF certification audits to implement and maintain required quality documentation and methodologies.
• Design, install, and evaluate quality assurance systems, process sampling, and statistical techniques.
• Ensure products meet all customer requirements and intervene in production if quality standards are not met.
• Analyze customer claims using 8D methodologies and provide feedback to employees to prevent recurrence.
• Estimate the impact of Engineering Changes (CRs) and generate necessary quality documentation during the launch phase.
• Establish scrap tracking systems and perform analyses to identify process improvements and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar quality engineering role.
• Proven experience within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools.
• Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
