About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform quality oversight on purchased products to ensure conformance to specifications
- Conduct on-site supplier audits, including production verifications and failure investigations
- Manage supplier failure investigations and implement corrective actions
- Disposition non-conforming hardware received from the supply base
- Monitor supplier performance regarding quality and delivery metrics
- Review and approve supplier documentation, including FAIRs, PPAP, and Vendor Change requests
- Assist Supply Chain Management in the selection and evaluation of suppliers
- Maintain statistical databases and create reports using Microsoft Office products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Proficiency in reading Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and drawing notes
- Familiarity with PPAP methodologies and supplier quality processes
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time, occasionally on short notice
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required
