Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor the production process across different stages to ensure quality activities are executed correctly in all areas
• Implement quality strategies in accordance with management directives to meet organizational objectives
• Provide technical after-sales support to resolve field issues and implement systematic actions to prevent recurrence
• Coordinate task forces and working groups to solve complex quality problems
• Plan quality assurance during early product change stages to ensure production line implementation meets established standards
• Update quality assurance instructions and procedures in compliance with management system guidelines
• Participate in continuous improvement activities through the Lean@Buses program to optimize resources
• Follow up on the use of the FIORI system, planning and implementing improvements and new developments
• Support other departments in the correct use and interpretation of quality tools to identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (Titulado)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing and quality within the automotive industry
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
• Experience working with the FIORI system
