About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage product and application quality assurance for VHF high-frequency generators throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Drive change and improvement measures with a focus on product and process quality.
  • Collaborate with the global application engineering team to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and conduct quality-oriented training.
  • Act as a technical quality partner for international customers, supporting them with commissioning, error analysis, and application questions both on-site and remotely.
  • Perform structured field error analyses using the 8D methodology, including root-cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventative measures.
  • Partner with production and manufacturing teams to optimize manufacturability, lead times, and error rates.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
  • Proficiency in both German and English for communication in international contexts.
  • Solid knowledge of power electronics and RF technology.
  • Practical experience with measurement technology and testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with quality methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, or Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of PLM systems and test/qualification processes.
  • Experience in international field service or customer complaint management is a plus.
