About the role
Responsibilities
- Represent Supplier Quality in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) as part of the Boeing Supply Chain's Work Movement process
- Perform technical risk assessments of proposed Statements of Work (SOW) and supplier options across product and program life-cycle dimensions
- Assess supplier capabilities including quality systems, process controls, metrology, and corrective/preventive actions
- Develop and execute supplier assessment plans, including onsite audits and virtual assessments
- Define and validate acceptance criteria, sourcing quality requirements, and transition quality gates
- Track and report risk metrics, readiness status, and quality performance to propose continuous improvement actions
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management to address risks within the supply base
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or equivalent in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience performing supplier assessments, audits, FMEA, and process validation
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 quality systems and regulatory compliance expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, or equivalent) or a STEM field from an ABET accredited institution
- Ability to meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience in work movement, source selection, transfer planning, or supplier onboarding
- Knowledge of engineering process improvement methodologies such as Six-Sigma or Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Experience conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) or reviewing AS9102 forms
- Proficiency in data analysis and utilizing Microsoft Office tools for synthesizing findings
