Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Utilize statistical methods to develop and maintain systems for assessing production system health
• Design and maintain conformance system inspection points and methods to optimize quality and efficiency
• Perform root cause analysis and implement countermeasures to drive continuous production improvement
• Participate in Quality System audits and Engineering specification reviews to ensure regulatory compliance
• Plan First Article Inspections for new airplane programs and derivatives
• Perform Measurement Systems Analysis and Gage R&R activities to minimize measurement variation
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential quality issues and develop mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or STEM field
• 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data, as well as summarizing findings and developing conclusions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electrical wire bundle fabrication
• Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar Quality Management System (QMS) standards
• Experience conducting Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for complex technical issues
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems through diverse approaches
