Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Represent the Quality function on team activities to integrate Boeing Quality Management System requirements into program processes
• Develop quality metrics, design, and production certification plans to ensure regulatory compliance
• Conduct capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection
• Perform analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness
• Provide material review dispositions for non-conformances and analyze trends to evaluate corrective action effectiveness
• Perform benchmarking and analysis to ensure specified process capability levels are achieved

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an ABET accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience working in a quality role
• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• 3+ years of experience working with CAPA (Corrective Action/Preventive Action) or RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Engineering Process Improvement Methods such as Six-Sigma or Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Experience working with Quality Standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, or ISO1400
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and synthesize data to develop recommendations
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Ability to present technical findings to various levels of leadership
