Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and inspection plans to meet internal and customer requirements
• Monitor manufacturing processes and product quality to identify risks, nonconformances, and improvement opportunities
• Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues
• Collaborate with production, engineering, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to enhance process capability
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and requirements to support quality planning and validation activities
• Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and maintain accurate quality documentation and records
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, reduce defects, and improve overall performance
• Support new product introductions (NPI), process changes, supplier quality, and validation of quality requirements
• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to verify conformance with established standards
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and quality excellence across the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a related manufacturing role
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection processes, and problem-solving methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process documentation
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with quality tools, data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications
