Quality Engineer - QMS

Responsibilities

• Lead the Management Review process in accordance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
• Drive compliance with quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA) and customer-specific requirements
• Lead 3rd Party Certification processes for quality management system standards
• Manage external and internal quality management system and process audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, LPA)
• Drive the identification, standardization, and optimization of business processes
• Oversee document control for all quality management system processes and documentation
• Lead the internal audit process and drive the closure of all identified non-conformities

Requirements

• Minimum HND in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience in a Tier 1 Automotive supply chain
• Deep understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA standards
• Proficiency in Quality Tools and Techniques including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC
• Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques such as 8D, PPS, and DMAIC
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab, and IQ-RM
• Experience with SAP QM module
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts
• Willingness to travel on company business for short periods as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• 1st or 2nd Party Auditor certification
