About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality improvement strategies and systemic controls in partnership with Manufacturing Engineering
  • Lead technical investigations, PRTs, and root cause analysis to minimize defects and prevent customer escapes
  • Identify and establish required QMS improvements to support the new Advanced Casting Foundry product line
  • Lead process improvement opportunities using DMAIC, CORE, and Lean strategies to enhance quality and reduce costs
  • Provide technical expertise regarding non-conforming material and support the Material Review Board (MRB) process
  • Support FAA and AS9100 scope expansion and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Analyze and present complex data to support quality signature improvements and business objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of or experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality systems
  • Proficiency in quality tools including FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, and GD&T
  • Practical experience with DMAIC, CORE, Six Sigma, or other Lean Systems
  • Demonstrated experience in product and process improvement and root cause corrective action
  • Previous experience with Pratt & Whitney quality systems
