Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive corrective and preventive actions using KPI inputs with a focus on effective root-cause analysis
• Support the quality planning process and manage Quality System documentation
• Provide product quality analysis via various testing methodologies
• Support Material Review and the disposition of non-conforming products
• Manage daily, weekly, and yearly gauge verification and calibration
• Perform product, process, and internal audits, as well as MSA
• Report on quality system status and key process indicators
• Train production personnel in quality system requirements, processes, and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 4-year degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing or production environment
• 2+ years of experience implementing and executing ISO 9001:2015
• Proven experience with Quality Core Tools
• Proficiency in problem-solving tools such as Pareto Charts, SPC methodologies, cause and effect diagrams, and 8D
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
