Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Audit the ISO 9001:2015 management system to ensure compliance.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics for all manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed procedures, control plans, and inspection practices based on engineering drawings and ISO standards.
• Detect technical issues and lead corrective action processes using CAPA and DMAIC methodologies.
• Coordinate inspection functions across receiving, process, and quality laboratory departments.
• Manage and lead quality personnel, including quality leaders, auditors, and laboratory staff.
• Communicate quality issues to suppliers and manage vendor-related quality problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Supervision or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality management systems.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and basic metrology.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (oral and written).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software.
• Proven experience in personnel management and leadership.
