About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure products, processes, and systems meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards (ISO 9001).
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Design and implement equipment and tooling to improve operational safety and efficiency.
- Lead non-conforming materials processes, including documentation and disposition.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to advance continuous improvement and reduce waste.
- Support supplier quality by evaluating performance and managing corrective actions.
- Analyze quality metrics such as scrap, rework, and defect trends to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an Electromechanical discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering (internships/co-ops considered).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality standards.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience using statistical software (e.g., Minitab) and GD&T.
- Experience with ERP or Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Green Belt).
