About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure products, processes, and systems meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards (ISO 9001).
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Design and implement equipment and tooling to improve operational safety and efficiency.
  • Lead non-conforming materials processes, including documentation and disposition.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools to advance continuous improvement and reduce waste.
  • Support supplier quality by evaluating performance and managing corrective actions.
  • Analyze quality metrics such as scrap, rework, and defect trends to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an Electromechanical discipline.
  • 0–2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering (internships/co-ops considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality standards.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience using statistical software (e.g., Minitab) and GD&T.
  • Experience with ERP or Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Green Belt).
