Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage product non-conformity by organizing resources to provide quality solutions, risk assessments, containment, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Improve product shipping quality by controlling 4M1E to ensure batch quality and reduce RMA rates.
• Handle customer complaints, RMAs, and customer service requests by coordinating resources to meet expectations.
• Conduct audit activities and prepare for customer audits.
• Control product design, development, and mass production transfer projects from a quality perspective.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Optical Communication, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the optical industry or related fields (optics, electronics, or mechanical engineering).
• Fluency in English or Chinese (reading, speaking, and writing).
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of TL9000 or ISO9001.
• Internal auditor certificates for TL9000, ISO9001, or ISO14001.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material properties.
• Proficiency with 8D, 5W1H, 7QC tools, and FMEA.
• Experience with Agile/RMA systems.
